Congratulations to PHS student Maci Winn on her F30 grant!
Maci is a 4th year PHS PhD student in the lab of Dr. Sheetal Hardikar. The title of her F30 grant is ‘Metabolic Obesity Phenotypes and Obesity-related Cancer Survival’. They will be using large prospective cohort data as well as EHR data from the University of Utah to study metabolic dysfunction in cancer patients. This grant supports her training as a future physician-scientist and will provide support throughout the rest of her PhD and MD training.
