Patrice Hicks accepted to present at ARVO

We are pleased to announce Patrice Hicks, our PHS PhD Student with an emphasis in Clinical and Translational Epidemiology, will be giving a paper presentation during the Genetic Epidemiology paper session. Her presentation title is: Genetic Epidemiologic Analysis of Hypertensive Retinopathy (HTR) Reveals Unique Risk in a Native American Population. She has also been asked to be a co-moderator for the Genetic Epidemiology paper session. In addition, Patrice has been awarded the National Eye Institute travel grant. These funds are to provide travel support to attend and present at the ARVO 2019 Annual Meeting, April 28 - May 2, 2019 in Vancouver, British Columbia.  

ARVO is the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology. ARVO is the largest and most respected eye and vision research organization in the world. Our members include nearly 12,000 researchers from over 75 countries. ARVO advances research worldwide into understanding the visual system and preventing, treating and curing its disorders. Their annual meeting this year is in Vancouver, BC.
